We are looking for Senior Coordinator for Targeted Programmes to coordinate the delivery of Arsenal in the Community’s Targeted Programmes
These programmes work with individuals who are in the / on the fringes of the criminal justice system as well as those excluded from mainstream education settings and referrals from key partners.

Your day-to-day
- Overseeing the day-to-day delivery of Targeted programmes such as Chances, Divert, Twinning and projects in Pupil Referral Units.
- Establishing and maintaining a robust referral pathway whereby local services are able to refer young people into our programmes.
- Providing effective management and support to casual workers and volunteers delivering on the programmes in-line with club procedures.
- Regularly delivering activities and quality assurance across Targeted programmes
- Identifying and creating personal development opportunities which can be promoted to local young people.
- Ensuring that all programme KPI’s and funder targets are met.
- Working closely with local authority services, youth and community organisations, the police and national partners, to obtain data which will support the impact measurement of our programmes.
- Monitor, measure and record the impact of the Targeted programmes
- Ensure that Equality, Diversity and Inclusion is promoted within the Social Inclusion workforce and programmes.
- Ensure compliance to Health & Safety and Safeguarding policies ensuring all activities are delivered in line with required regulatory and statutory procedures.
What we are looking for
- Passionate about working with young people.
- Valid, up to date certifications in First Aid and Safeguarding Children.
- Experience working in areas which are high in anti-social behaviour or youth violence.
- Previous experience of working in community and youth work settings.
- Experience of mentoring vulnerable young people.
- Able to deliver workshops to diverse groups of young people, particularly in non-mainstream settings such as prisons and pupil referral units.
- Positive attitude with the ability to lead and inspire a team.
- Strong knowledge of youth work practices.
- Passionate about sport and how it can contribute to achieving social outcomes.
- An understanding of and a demonstrable commitment to promoting principles of Equalities, Diversity, and Inclusion both in the workplace and in the wider community.
- Youth Work Level 3 or equivalent (desirable)
- Relevant mentoring qualifications (desirable)
- FA Level 2 / UEFA C License (desirable)
