Contract to start on 11-09-23 until 10-12-23 with a possible extension.
Requires GIS and LLPG skills to work on the following Projects
1) LLPG linking Project (Streets and property)
2) Web Maps Project
3) data Integration Project
Main Purpose of the job:
1. To work on the LLPG Child and Parent Project, linking all unlinked Child records in the LLPG to their corresponding Parent record. Liaising with GIS Lead and LLPG Officer while using the Corporate LLPG App
2. To work on the LLPG Street Error Project. This involves correcting Street Geometry error in the LLPG and making sure updates are included in the daily COU
3. To locate maps on the Lewisham Council’s website that are not fit for purpose as well as Maps on GIS Database necessary to be accessible by all staff
4. To assist the GIS/ LLPG Analyst in assessing new properties to be added to the LLPG
5. To manage the creation of Web based maps and work with the Product and Development teams to publish on the required teams pages on the Lewisham Council’s Website
6. To integrate other systems with GIS using APIs and Microsoft Power Platform
7. To support the administration of Corporate Intranet and Internet GIS system within the Council (Mapthat and GeoServer).
8. To support the administration of the Corporate LLPG (using CADLINE’s Dynamic map App) ensuring this is held to BS7666 standards.
9. Contribute to the Council’s IT continuity planning process
