We’re looking for a fun, friendly, creative, enthusiastic, hardworking individual with a vibrant personality to join our team at Sugar Cane Salon!
As Salon coordinator, you’ll be responsible for the smooth runnings of salon operations throughout the day. This means ensuring that our clients have a calming and memorable experience when visiting our salon. You’ll also be responsible for helping to manage and coordinate our team of artists.
Duties include:
- Meeting and greeting clients
- Booking system organisation
- Making complimentary drinks
- Taking bookings & responding to customer enquiries via the following channels: in - person, via email, telephone & instagram DM
- Sharing content from shared staff folder to instagram stories.
- Opening the salon
- Taking Payments & Calculating end of day sales
- Light cleaning duties and general salon maintenance throughout the day
- Checking stock levels
- Responding to enquiries via the following channels: in person, via email, telephone & instagram DM.
- Collecting orders, sending off refunds, shop runs.
Experience required:
- Receptionist skills
- Excellent Customer Service skills
- Good timekeeping skills
- Ability to work in a fast pace environment at times whilst remaining calm and focused
- Highly Organised
- Good problem solving skills
- Experience in the beauty industry is preferred but not essential
- Must consider yourself to be a creative person
- General knowledge and a keen interest to learn about the following services: Lashes, Nails, Brows, Facials, SPMU & Aesthetics

Contract:
- Full Time & Part Time positions available
Hours:
- 9:30am - 6:30pm if working weekdays or Saturdays
- 10:30am - 6pm if working Sunday
